The Love Street LampPost

     The Love Street LampPost was started as a local newsletter for the LA Center in 1987, but in the 21 years plus since it has expanded into an international magazine with people contributing from around the world. The Love Street LampPost is devoted to sharing information about Avatar Meher Baba's Life and Teachings. Local and worldwide news and events are included as well as articles by Baba’s Mandali (close disciples), stories by people who had spent time with Baba, and people from all walks of life whose lives have been touched by the Avatar of the Age.
     Contributions are certainly welcome in the way of stories of how Baba has affected your life, poetry to the Beloved, and for the "Humor for Huma" page, jokes that you would have told Baba face-to-face if you had been lucky enough to have the chance. There is also a children’s page, so if you have any Baba related stories from your children or grandchildren, please send them to us.
     The LampPost, published quarterly, is sustained solely by voluntary donations. The actual cost of publishing this magazine is $30 per person per year. Unfortunately the cost of postage to overseas countries is extremely high, so we need to ask for $25, and $35 overseas, which will just cover the postage.      Back issues of the LSLP cost $3 plus postage, with the exception of the Mani Memorial issue (with her section in full color), which is $4, and the 56-page full-color Eruch Memorial issue, as well as the Dr. Goher full-color Memorial issue, which is $5.
